Aims of WG5

The primary aim of WG5 is to encourage the implementation of a French and European regulatory framework favourable to the development of bio-based chemistry.

To achieve this, WG5 will firstly review the French and European regulations impacting companies of the bio-based chemistry sector. It will then analyse the key restricting and development factors of these regulations. This review and these analyses will be combined in the form of issue briefs. Following this groundwork, WG5 will be in a position to put forward a number of possible lobbying approaches to fuel debates with the national and European administrations.

  • Brief 3: Access to bio-resources
  • Brief 4: Taxation, TGAP [general tax on polluting activities], incentive tools…
