AJINOMOTO

Since 1989 Archimex has been a centre dedicated to research (development studies and trials at pilot scale), professional adult training, documentation and information updating, in the field of extraction and purification of ingredients from natural products. Archimex works to develop new additives, dyes, aromas, essential oils, plant extracts and natural origin intermediate products for companies involved in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical, nutraceuticals and animal feed industries.


ARD


ARD (Agro industrie recherches et développements) is a structure of private research having to its capital "les coopératives céréalières de Champagne Ardenne", the sugar group "Cristal union", "la Caisse Régionale du Crédit Agricole du Nord Est”, the "Chamtor"company (corn transformer out of gluten, starch, modified starch, glucose and derived)  and "les Coopératives de déshydratation de Luzerne".

The company was created in 1989 in order to open new respectful evaluation of the environment in agro resources of its shareholders (cereals, beet, alfalfa...).

To conclude its mission, ARD has developed competences in :
- the vegetable refinery ;
- the white biotechnology for the production of bio fuel, acids and organic solvents ;
- the green chemistry and more particularly in the synthesis of a range of biodegradable detergents; - the agro materials.

Moreover, ARD has coordinated an European program within the framework of the 5th PCRD (Research Outline Program and Development) for the development of epoxydes resin based on vegetables oils, having applications out of composites materials and electrical insulators.

Lastly, ARD turns like a platform of reference in white biotechnology.

COPACEL


COPACEL is a professional organization responsible for dealing with horizontal issues in order to represent and defend the interests of all the paper companies, and bring them to the institutions concerned. This organization is based on commissions for work to build the records necessary for effective action to institutions to enable a strong representation of the general interests of the Paper Industry.


DRT


Les Dérivés Résiniques & Terpéniques is located in the south-west of France, in the heart of the ‘‘Landes’’, amongst thousands of hectares of pine trees.
Generations of men with character turned this marshy land into Europe’s largest artificial forest.
In 1932 DRT began to exploit this new wealth by developing rosin and turpentine extracted from pine gum.
DRT is the story of a local group of entrepreneurs which over several decades has acquired considerable experience in pine chemistry, bringing international recognition to the company.

The UIC is the professional body federating all the chemical companies. It provides them with exchange and meeting structures, and encourages their development. It represents and defends them in its various fields of activities, such as social, economic, technical, fiscal and legal affairs.

UIC offers services from 6 main categories:technical ; economic ; social ; innovation ; communication ; legal.
 
The UIC's main task is to identify the needs common to all chemical companies and to favour their exchanges in order to define common stances and actions.

The UIC represents the chemical professionsand defends their interests when involved with any regional, national or international authorities.

The trade and employer organisation
is at the service of the member companies. It provides them with information, advice and tools which are necessary for a proper management of their human resources, as well as the enforcement of economic and technical regulations concerning them.

As far as the public, the media and opinion leaders are concerned, the UIC is here to promote the image of chemical industries and outline the essential part the latter has been playing in human progress.



USIPA


The Union des Syndicats des Industries starch products and their derivatives represents the economic interests of starch and potato starch in France: Cargill, Chamtor, Féculerie Haussimont Roquette and Syral.
The industrial starch products is designed to extract starch plants and their co-products (proteins, dregs and sounds, oil) and ensure its transformation to meet the needs of many industrial customers, both in food and non food.
Four are processed raw materials: corn, wheat, potatoes and recently pea protein, both on 9 sites.
The starch-starch is already today, along with bio-fuels, the main non-food outlet of the French agriculture with 360,000 hectares. In Europe surfaces opportunities for non-food starch is approximately 1,100,000 ha. These valuations cover a wide range of opportunities such as paper, cardboard, bio-chemicals, adhesives, textiles, building materials, detergents, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, bio-plastics ...) and are referred to develop in the context of the file of the Chemical Plant.
